Meghan Luchies, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, YAECP
I am an E-RYT 500 and Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) with a passion for healing through yoga. With over a decade of teaching experience and more than 30 years of personal practice, yoga has been an integral part of my life from an early age.
A Journey Rooted in Tradition
My journey into yoga started as a child, attending classes with my mom. Over the years, my practice deepened, leading me to pursue yoga teacher training. Today, I specialize in therapeutic yoga, yin, and Vinyasa, drawing inspiration from various sources, including my first teacher, Becky Porter, and the transformative teachings of Kripalu Yoga and the Kripalu School of Integrated Yoga Therapy.
The Essence of My Teaching
My teaching philosophy is all about creating a gentle, healing space for students. I emphasize the interplay of breath, movement, and the subtle body, fostering a lighthearted flow that empowers each student to move in a way that feels right for their unique bodies. Yoga, to me, is a powerful tool for healing, reducing stress, and cultivating self-love.
A Customized Approach
I offer both private and group sessions, catering to diverse age groups and demographics. Additionally, I conduct workshops and retreats, including sessions at the Battle Creek Family YMCA and retreats at the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary.
Mindfulness and Meditation
Mindfulness and meditation are integrated seamlessly into my yoga classes, enhancing the mind-body connection and promoting inner peace.
Empowering Transformation
My mission is clear: to help my students reduce stress, discover comfort within their bodies, and boost self-love. With extensive training, years of practice, and a commitment to personal growth, I’m dedicated to empowering individuals through the transformative tools of yoga.
